Barbera D'Alba Deal!!!

SOTTIMANO BARBERA D’ALBA ‘PAIROLERO’ 2007

Arriving the 1st week of December!

Just $22.50 for this incredible, hand-crafted barbera! From 2.5 hectares in Neive comes this stunning Barbera d’Alba… 13 day fermentation on the skins with NO SELECTED YEASTS, aging in 25% new French oak for up to 16 months. Just read Mr Galloni’s RAVE REVIEW!
WA:92 points! “The 2007 Barbera d’Alba Pairolero is sumptuous and rich in its massive dark fruit, flowers, minerals and spices. This is one of the more intense, full-bodied Barberas readers will come across in 2007, and it is utterly delicicous. It will be even better in another year or so, when all of the elements come together more fully. The 2007 Pairolero is an inspired effort!”

Anchor Distilling Company

Last night I tried Junipero Gin which is another great product from the Anchor Distilling Company in San Francisco. This distillery has been around since 1993. They are dedicated to making small batch traditional spirits. This Gin is a blend of over a dozen natural botanicals with the predominant flavor being juniper. This light, clean, and crisp gin is drier than most with a delicate spice to it as well. The Gin & Tonics went down very easy, maybe a little too easy.

Anchor distilling Company also produces a gin that is much fuller bodied called Genevieve™. This is a recreation of a old world style gin. This style of grain gin is not used for Martinis or Gin & Tonics; it should be sipped over ice.

Anchor Steam also makes a full line of micro brews. Unfortunately in NY we can not sell beer along side wine and spirits, but if you get a chance to check out their products you won't be disappointed.

Junipero $32.99
Genevieve $32.99
